He said before creating the world, God loved because God is love. After that answer he just looked at me and said, “Oh, okay,” and walked away. I got off easy that day! Eucharistic Adoration is in our chapel every
Monday 7 AM – 7 PM, Wednesday 7 AM – 7 PM and Friday 7 AM – 4 PM.
Many thanks to all who have answered the call to spend an hour each week with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration. Adorers are always needed, but especially Wednesday at 12 PM. If you can sign up for a Holy Hour, please contact Paula Warnalis 215-715-6911.
Scrip Tuition Fundraising Program
Scrip is a no-cost way to earn money for Catholic school tuition. This includes grade school, high school, and religious education programs. EVERYONE can participate. Even if you’re not a school parent, you can help family members or friends with tuition, or just support parish tuition assistance. Click HERE to find complete information.
On Fridays, scrip is sold at the rectory from 2:30-3 PM, as well as through the Queen of Angels students’ backpacks. Scrip will be sold on Sunday 1/3, 1/10, and 1/24 from 10-11 AM in Fr. Curran Hall, at the counter by the kitchen area. Special orders are due by 11 AM on 1/10.

The Green Phase
As of June 26, 2020, the five-county area of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia moved into the green phase of the reopening of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The green phase continues to require precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 and our corporate responsibility to observe them.
The liturgical directives that follow are for the Pennsylvania green phase and our Archdiocesan Open Phase for the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy. They were authorized by the Archbishop to go into effect on Friday morning, June 26, 2020.
We can be certain that there will be challenges as we reunite and celebrate Mass together. I ask that we be patient with one another, we all desire one thing – to celebrate the Eucharist together in our church! It will take some adjusting and some refining of details, but let us keep our focus on the Lord, who calls us to gather as His people.
I eagerly await the day we gather together in our church. In the meantime, let us continue to pray for one another.

The 5th grade class of Queen of Angels won 1st place in the 2020 Citizenship Challenge hosted by the Rendell Center for Civics and Civics Education. For the competition, the students wrote an essay, created a video and answered questions about the Electoral College. The judges for the competition were former Governor Ed Rendell, Judge Marjorie Rendell and NFL Hall of Famer, Franco Harris. Their prize for winning 1st place is a $1000 check to be used toward civics education.
We have enjoyed being able to welcome our students in-person each day during these unprecedented times. It's hard to believe, but it is time to start planning for the 2021-2022 school year! Queen of Angels School provides students with a quality Catholic education that includes Religion every day in addition to all the major academic subjects enhanced with art, computers, gym, library, music, and Spanish for all grades. For qualified students in grades 5-8, we offer an Honors Math class. Students in kindergarten through grade two consistently utilize iPads and Chromebooks to enhance their learning. Third through eighth-grade students participate in a 1:1 Chromebook Program.
The value of our PreK programs is unmatched in quality and price - offering full and half-day options for 3 and 4-year-olds. We also provide before and aftercare at a reasonable price.
Thanks to the generous subsidy from our Parishes, K-8 tuition is subsidized for each student for in-parish families. Discounts are available for multi-child families. For your convenience, financial aid applications are now being processed and the deadline to apply is March 2021.
