Have you ever been to a place or event that you did not want to leave? You are either having such a great time or you are moved emotionally with joy that you just do not want it to end. I imagine that is what Peter was feeling on this mountain top. He did not want the experience to end. He had been lost and after following Jesus he begins to realize who Christ truly is. CYO Spring Sports
Registration is now open for CYO Spring Sports. We will be offering the following:
- Track for grades 4-8 (bantam for K-4 with birthdays 2021-2015)
- Baseball and softball
- High School co-ed volleyball

St. Luke CRE Position Opening
St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Glenside, is looking to hire a Coordinator of Religious Education. This is anticipated to be a 20 hour/week position responsible for the Monday evening PREP program, 6:15-7:30 PM, and coordinating the Sacrament Program for all school children. Scrip Tuition Fundraising Program
Scrip is a no-cost way to earn money for Catholic school tuition. This includes grade school, high school, and religious education programs. EVERYONE can participate. Even if you’re not a school parent, you can help family members or friends with tuition, or just support parish tuition assistance. Click HERE to find complete information.
On Fridays, scrip is sold at the rectory from 2:30-3 PM, as well as through the Queen of Angels students’ backpacks. Scrip will be sold on Sunday 3/7 & 3/21 from 10-11 AM in Fr. Curran Hall, at the counter by the kitchen area. Special orders are due to the coordinators by 11 AM on 3/7.

The Green Phase
As of June 26, 2020, the five-county area of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia moved into the green phase of the reopening of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The green phase continues to require precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 and our corporate responsibility to observe them.
The liturgical directives that follow are for the Pennsylvania green phase and our Archdiocesan Open Phase for the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy. They were authorized by the Archbishop to go into effect on Friday morning, June 26, 2020.
We can be certain that there will be challenges as we reunite and celebrate Mass together. I ask that we be patient with one another, we all desire one thing – to celebrate the Eucharist together in our church! It will take some adjusting and some refining of details, but let us keep our focus on the Lord, who calls us to gather as His people.
I eagerly await the day we gather together in our church. In the meantime, let us continue to pray for one another.
