Divine Mercy: The Easter Gift
On this Feast of Divine Mercy, we celebrate Jesus’ tender mercy and love which is lavishly poured upon those who surrender their lives to Him in profound trust and accept His Easter Gift. What is this very special Easter Gift and how can we receive it? The Easter Gift is the forgiveness of our sins and the total remission of all temporal punishment for them.

We will pray the
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
after every mass.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
Divine Mercy Sunday Holy Hour and Chaplet
Join St. David’s Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy for a special celebration this afternoon. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration at 2 PM and we will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We will close with Benediction at 3 PM. We invite all our parishioners to join us in prayer for the Divine Mercy of Our Lord. Visit
to livestream the service.
Divine Mercy Chaplet
Creating communities of disciples, leaders, and missionaries for today and tomorrow.
In the face of a changing society, a decline in sacramental participation, and a generational shift, parishes are struggling to grow, adapt, and thrive in today’s world.
But there is hope. Together, we can create the Next Generation Parish.
This means building, supporting, and sustaining a Church for our children, grandchildren, and beyond. Visit
to learn more about our new initiative here at St. David.
The Disciple Maker Index
St. David will be participating in a parish survey about discipleship conducted by the Catholic Leadership Institute called the
Disciple Maker Index
Please help us by participating in a 10-15 minute survey online.
The survey can be accessed through an online link from
April 16 to May 17, 2021
and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide feedback on our parish’s efforts to help you grow. All responses will be confidential and the parish will only receive information about the community as whole. We will share the link with you a bit closer to the launch of the survey.
We are trying to get the highest response rate possible. This information will be invaluable to Fr. Windle and our various ministries as we plan for the future and strive to be the best disciples we can be. We will receive the results this summer at which time we will share what we have learned with the entire parish. Please see the DMI Parish Handout for more information.
Thank you for helping with this important project!

The Green Phase
As of June 26, 2020, the five-county area of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia moved into the green phase of the reopening of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The green phase continues to require precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 and our corporate responsibility to observe them.
The liturgical directives that follow are for the Pennsylvania green phase and our Archdiocesan Open Phase for the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy. They were authorized by the Archbishop to go into effect on Friday morning, June 26, 2020.

We can be certain that there will be challenges as we reunite and celebrate Mass together. I ask that we be patient with one another, we all desire one thing – to celebrate the Eucharist together in our church! It will take some adjusting and some refining of details, but let us keep our focus on the Lord, who calls us to gather as His people.

I eagerly await the day we gather together in our church. In the meantime, let us continue to pray for one another.
God Bless You,
