A Message from Sr. Michele
I will be transferring from our beloved St. David Parish and my dear OLC School Family to begin a new Ministry of Service at our Camilla Hall Nursing Home, our IHM Powerhouse of Prayer. The official time to transfer to our new assignments is usually in early August but nothing is usual or normal this year of the Pandemic virus.
I wish to thank you, the wonderful people of my beloved Parish community for 20 years of fond memories. It was a gift and a blessing to serve a our OLC School Family! It was also a honor to teach 1st graders in our PREP program and for a few years to meet with the IHM Junior Companion Club with the St. David Queen of Angels students.
I wish to thank Fr. Windle and our former pastors, Msgr. Bolger and Fr. Connors for being such wonderful Spiritual Leaders. Through the years, I have been blessed to share community life with many dedicated IHM sisters at our convent home. I hope at a later time to inform you of my official date of departure but for now and for those old enough to remember Bob Hope’s theme song: “Thanks for the Memories.” We all know when “journeys must end… and new journeys begin.”
With love, prayers, and gratitude,
Sr. Michele Crawford
