I write this reflection on the anniversary of my dear Aunt Margaret’s death (10/10/94), Sister Joseph Anne Chapman, IHM, who was principal at Saint David School over 40 years ago. I remember visiting her here as a young college student. She loved her time at Saint David Parish. Scrip Tuition Fundraising Program
Scrip is a no-cost way to earn money for Catholic school tuition. This includes grade school, high school, and religious education programs. EVERYONE can participate. Even if you’re not a school parent, you can help family members or friends with tuition, or just support parish tuition assistance. Click HERE to find complete information.
Scrip will be sold on 10/24 from 10-11 AM in Father Curran Hall. Special orders are due to the coordinator by 11am on 10/24. We hope to begin scrip sales through the QoA backpacks very soon. Stay tuned!

ANNUAL COAT, CLOTHING, AND SHOE COLLECTION
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the St. Vincent de Paul annual clothing collection will not be held at the church. Please bag your gently used coats, clothing, shoes, and small household items and bring them to the GreenDrop facility on York Road across from the Giant supermarket entrance from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday. Please tell the attendant that your donation should be credited to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. We thank you for your support. THANKSGIVING FOOD COLLECTION
Due to the Coronavirus, the Interfaith Food Cupboard is asking for Giant supermarket gift cards in $10 and $20 denominations, so that their clients can buy the type of food they need. Envelopes for the gift cards are located in the church vestibule and on the shelf in the handicapped entrance to the church. Please place them in the collection basket. Donations can also be made through the parish e-giving program. Thank you, and may God bless you for your continued charity to the poor and needy in the parish area.
