What is Bartimaeus willing to do? The blind beggar Bartimaeus hears that Jesus of Nazareth is walking by him and cries out, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me.” The crowd is honored that Jesus was visiting their town of Jericho and didn’t want the cries of a poor, blind beggar to spoil Jesus’ impression of them. Therefore, they tell him to be quiet and stop embarrassing them. Bartimaeus is not discouraged and calls out even louder, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me.”... Scrip Tuition Fundraising Program
Scrip is a no-cost way to earn money for Catholic school tuition. This includes grade school, high school, and religious education programs. EVERYONE can participate. Even if you’re not a school parent, you can help family members or friends with tuition, or just support parish tuition assistance. Click HERE to find complete information.

ANNUAL COAT, CLOTHING, AND SHOE COLLECTION
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the St. Vincent de Paul annual clothing collection will not be held at the church. Please bag your gently used coats, clothing, shoes, and small household items and bring them to the GreenDrop facility on York Road across from the Giant supermarket entrance from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday. Please tell the attendant that your donation should be credited to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. We thank you for your support. THANKSGIVING FOOD COLLECTION
Due to the Coronavirus, the Interfaith Food Cupboard is asking for Giant supermarket gift cards in $10 and $20 denominations, so that their clients can buy the type of food they need. Envelopes for the gift cards are located in the church vestibule and on the shelf in the handicapped entrance to the church. Please place them in the collection basket. Donations can also be made through the parish e-giving program. Thank you, and may God bless you for your continued charity to the poor and needy in the parish area.
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade girls who competed in the Villa Joseph Marie High School Sciathalon. Our 8th grade team, Chloe Casper, Bryn O'Connor, Clare Waropay, and Madeline White took 1st place! Our 7th grade team, Mackenzie Baer, Sara Bean, Francesca Fayette, and Gracie Maxwell took 3rd place! Thanks to Mr. Koebler for preparing our girls; we are so proud of their accomplishments!
