Spiritual Reflection from
St. David Parish
Christ gave us the first commandment to love God with “all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” The next is to “love your neighbor as yourself.” The Gospel today is a reflection of what Immaculée Ilibagiza will share during her presentation in December. In order to love fully, we need to forgive and open our hearts to be able to give and receive it. It can be easy to say that you love someone when everything is going well and right in the world. Scrip Tuition Fundraising Program
Scrip is a no-cost way to earn money for Catholic school tuition. This includes grade school, high school, and religious education programs. EVERYONE can participate. Even if you’re not a school parent, you can help family members or friends with tuition, or just support parish tuition assistance. Click HERE to find complete information.
Scrip will be sold on 11/7, 11/14, and 11/21 from 10-11 AM in Father Curran Hall. Special orders are due to the coordinator by 11am on 11/14. On Fridays, scrip is sold through the QoA students' backpacks.

Clothing Fundraiser
This weekend is the start of the St. David clothing fundraiser. We will be selling kids and adult short and long sleeve T-shirts and zippered hoodies. We will also have adult only PJ bottoms. Please note sizes are Kids Sm, Med and Lg and Adult Sm, Med, Lg, XL, 2X and 3X. To make sure you get the correct size stop by Father Curran Hall Oct. 30/31 after each mass. We will have a table set up with sample sizes of each item being sold. Purchases may be made with cash or check only. Make checks payable to St. David’s Church. Orders can be placed until Nov 14, 2021.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the St. Vincent de Paul annual clothing collection will not be held at the church. Please bag your gently used coats, clothing, shoes, and small household items and bring them to the GreenDrop facility on York Road across from the Giant supermarket entrance from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday. Please tell the attendant that your donation should be credited to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. We thank you for your support. THANKSGIVING FOOD COLLECTION
Due to the Coronavirus, the Interfaith Food Cupboard is asking for Giant supermarket gift cards in $10 and $20 denominations, so that their clients can buy the type of food they need. Consider purchasing these gift cards through St. David Scrip Program! Envelopes for the gift cards are located in the church vestibule and on the shelf in the handicapped entrance to the church. Please place them in the collection basket. Donations can also be made through the parish e-giving program. Thank you, and may God bless you for your continued charity to the poor and needy in the parish area.
