As we wait in joyful hope and expectation for the celebration of the Birth of Jesus, we reflect on our Gospel in which Mary and Elizabeth were also waiting in joyful hope and expectation for the births of Jesus and John the Baptist. St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. Sounds of the Season
St. David Schola will present a program of Christmas carols on Christmas Eve at 7:30 PM. This will be followed by the 8:00 PM Mass. They are looking forward to continuing this Christmas Eve tradition at St. David’s. Both the choir concert and 8:00 PM Mass will be livestreamed.

Finance Update
Thank you to all parishioners who continue to support St. David Parish’s financial needs. We appreciate your ongoing giving to the parish and the participation in special fundraisers, all that helps pay the ongoing monthly expenses and fund capital projects to keep the parish up to date.
Parish Collections:
2nd Sunday December 2021 = $12,550.00
2nd Sunday December 2020 = $11,749.50
So...what about those DMI survey results? Who responded & how are the results being utilized? As a parishioner, these are great questions to ask.
395 parishioners completed the survey, which is about 20% of our registered parishioners. The Envisioning Team has been utilizing the compiled results to establish a Vision Statement, Values Statement and 3 Parish Priorities & Goals for St. David Parish to implement over the next 4 years. Our plan is to share some survey results that were most impactful in developing all of these for St. David Parish in a (special) Church Bulletin insert over the Christmas Season. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit our newly launched website stdavidparish.org/next-gen that will introduce you to the Envisioning Team and share the upcoming plans for the Next Generation Parish process.
As Father Windle expressed in a recent homily, this process is not about fixing everything that needs improvement but is giving us an opportunity to help St. David Parish to continue to be and grow even more as a place of praise & worship, a place of hope, & a community of faith for the next 100 years & so on. We appreciate your continued prayers and look forward to sharing more information over the coming months.
