St. David's adult choir and Queen of Angels children's choir will sing the 11:00 Mass on Sunday, November 13 in observance of Veterans Day. American Legion Post 308 Color and Honor Guard will be presenting the colors. The choirs will be accompanied by trumpet. We hope you can join us to honor our veterans.

Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord!
We are looking for Cantors to lead the congregation during weekend Masses. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable singing in front of people and be familiar with hymns and Mass settings. You do not need to know how to read music.
Choir rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 7:30pm-9pm in the choir loft. You do not need to know how to read music but you do need to be able to sing on pitch. Any age is welcome!

Holy Name Society
At St. David Parish, the Holy Name Society is looking for new members to join our organization. The purposes of the Society are the respect for God’s Name and the strengthening of the spiritual lives of men, which are more relevant in today’s world, if not more so, than in the past.

Leaf Raking Service Event | November 26th
Families are invited to volunteer for our Leaf Raking Event the morning of Sat.
November 26th for homebound, sick and elderly. If you cannot make Nov 26th but still want to volunteer, we could assign you a property to rake at your convenience with your assigned team. Bring your leaf blowers, tarps, and rakes. We encourage parents to volunteer with their teens. St. Vincent De Paul Thanksgiving
The Family Promise Food Cupboard in Roslyn is again asking for $10 and $20 Giant gift cards for Thanksgiving so that their clients can buy the type of food they need. Consider purchasing these cards through the St. David Scrip Program - Queen of Angels School will also benefit! Envelopes for the gift cards are at all 3 entrances of the church. Please place the filled envelopes in the collection basket. Donations can also be made through the parish e-giving program. Many thanks! Queen of Angels will be hosting a Veterans Day Military Appreciation Mass and Reception on Friday, November 11 at 9am at St. David Church with a reception immediately following in Father Curran Hall. This coming Tues., Nov. 1 -- ALL SAINTS DAY is a Holy Day of Obligation. All PREP students and their families are invited to attend the 4:00 PM Vigil Mass on Mon. Oct. 31, where appropriate Halloween costumes may be worn or the 7:00 PM Mass on Tues. Nov. 1.
The RITE OF ACCEPTANCE for our 2022- 2023 Candidates for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist will be held on Sun., Nov. 6 at the 9:00 AM Mass.
