Dear Parishioners,

Please be aware that a phishing email scam is currently circulating that impersonates Fr. Pancoast. Several parishioners have reported receiving messages where someone pretending to be Fr. Pancoast asks for an urgent favor, a confidential request, or financial assistance (such as purchasing gift cards).

See below for a sample email.

Please note that Fr. Pancoast will never ask you for money, gift cards, or urgent personal favors via email.

If you receive a suspicious message:

• Do not reply to the email.
• Do not click any links or open any attachments.
• Check the sender address: Scammers often change the display name to "Fr. Pancoast," but the actual email address behind it is a generic account (like Gmail or Yahoo) and not our official parish domain.

If you are ever in doubt about a message, please contact the parish office directly by phone to verify it.

Thank you for your vigilance and for keeping our community safe.

God bless,
Fr. Pancoast & the Staff of St. David
