Opening Prayer:
Father in Heaven hear our prayers and petitions today as a people who through our Baptism join Your Son not only in His death but in the reward of eternal life.
Intention:
For the Church: that we who have died with Christ in baptism, may recognize our dignity in being children of God, and sisters and brothers to one another, we pray to the Lord.
Response: Lord hear are prayer.
Intention:
For its people to have the grace to live the Gospel: that we may love God with our whole heart and strength and learn to love everyone in our lives as God loves them, we pray to the Lord.

Intention:
For all who have recently been baptized: that they may continue to die to their old way of life and experience God’s new life drawing them into greater virtue and compassion, we pray to the Lord.
Response: Lord hear are prayer.
Intention:
For Pope Francis and all who will benefit from the Peter’s Pence collection: that God will strengthen and sustain him, and help him to be able to respond to all who request his assistance during times of famine, disease, or disaster, we pray to the Lord.
Response: Lord hear our prayer.
Intention:
For all who have experienced or who live under the threat of violence, whether from neighborhood turmoil, organized crime, terrorism, or armed conflict: that they will know God’s strengthening presence and redeeming love, we pray to the Lord.
Response: Lord hear our prayer.
Intention:
For all who are ill and those care for them: that God will send healing to the sick, strength and wisdom to those who care for them and inspiration to those researching treatments and vaccines, we pray to the Lord.
Response: Lord hear our prayer.
Intention:
For all who have died, may they experience the rewards they received at their Baptism, we pray to the Lord.

Closing Prayer:
Father in Heaven,
You ask little of us. Please help us give each other the “cup” of water we all need. We ask this through your Son Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with you in union with the Holy Spirit one God forever and ever, Amen.

If you are aware of someone who is no longer sick please let us know so that we can ensure that there is room for others in need of prayer. Also, reducing the list allows for those who need prayer to be more apparent.
