from St. David Parish
When my family was younger and all my children lived at home, my wife would make a list of chores for them to do when they would get home from school. They were to have these chores done by the time my wife would get home from work. The first thing my children would ask, after of course complaining, is what time she would be home. Her answer every time would be, “I don’t know.”

Thanksgiving Food Collection
Due to the Coronavirus, the Interfaith Food Cupboard is asking for Giant supermarket gift cards in $10 and $20 denominations, so that their clients can buy the type of food they need. Envelopes for the gift cards are located in the church vestibule and on the shelf in the handicapped entrance to the church. Please place them in the collection baskets on the Communion rail. Donations can also be made through the parish e-giving program. May God bless you for your continued charity to the poor and needy in the parish area.

Suppose you were told that Jesus wanted to meet with you personally for an hour at St. David’s.
Who would say no to such an invitation?
Come! Accept this invitation to spend time with Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Speak to Him! Listen to Him! Jesus will answer all our needs.
Adoration is in our chapel
Monday 7 AM – 7 PM, Wednesday 7 AM – 7 PM and Friday 7 AM – 4 PM
If you can commit to an hour each week,
adorers are needed throughout the day,
however the greatest needs are
Wednesdays 11 AM &
Fridays at 8 AM.
Please, do not let Jesus be alone!
If you can accept this invitation and sign up for a Holy Hour, please contact Paula Warnalis 215-715-6911.

The Green Phase
As of June 26, 2020, the five-county area of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia moved into the green phase of the reopening of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The green phase continues to require precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19 and our corporate responsibility to observe them.
The liturgical directives that follow are for the Pennsylvania green phase and our Archdiocesan Open Phase for the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy. They were authorized by the Archbishop to go into effect on Friday morning, June 26, 2020.

We can be certain that there will be challenges as we reunite and celebrate Mass together. I ask that we be patient with one another, we all desire one thing – to celebrate the Eucharist together in our church! It will take some adjusting and some refining of details, but let us keep our focus on the Lord, who calls us to gather as His people.

I eagerly await the day we gather together in our church. In the meantime, let us continue to pray for one another.
